Just seen on AOL news that Ryan O'Neal has passed on at the age of 82. I expect most people of a certain age will remember him for two 1970s films, "Love Story" and the black-and-white "Paper Moon" with his daughter Tatum. I can remember him long before those when he played Rodney Harrington in a soap version of "Peyton Place" which ran from 1964 to 1969 and also starred Dorothy Malone as Constance McKenzie and Mia Farrow as her daughter Alison. RIP. I remember both of those films, especially "Love Story", a real tearjerker. I also remember the soap but I didn't watch it. I was addicted to "All of My Children" and General Hospital"
